Marlee
Mischievous Marlee, a seven-year-old Rottweiler, is referred to Fitzpatricks after a diagnosis of bone cancer, complicated by the discovery of osteoarthritis affecting the joints of all four of her legs.
Their Story
Mum and dad, Claire and Andy, have been offered full limb amputation but want to explore the possibility of replacing the cancerous bone with an implant, so that her remaining time with them can be as happy and comfortable as possible.
Treatment
After receiving ethics review approval, Noel proceeds with surgery– but suddenly, mid procedure, Marlee goes into cardiac arrest, and Noel is instantly thrown into emergency mode, having to make an instant decision in order to bring her back from the brink. Can he save her?
