Arnold, Benji & Kyte

This week there’s a superstar at the Supervet’s – and for once it’s not the animals that are turning heads. Take That’s Mark Owen has arrived with his 18-month-old Doberman, Arnold, currently the largest canine in this dog fan’s family.

Four-year-old Coton-Tzu Benji enjoys a pampered existence in Dublin with his family who love to spoil him rotten. Unfortunately, Benji has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and the pain is now so bad he cannot bear to have anyone touch his hind quarters. His doting family make the 400-mile journey from Noel’s own homeland Ireland to see if a double hip replacement could be the answer to his problems

Dog agility trainer Jackie has a dynasty of Border Collies. Her latest trainee Kyte had a fall when he was a puppy and has been lame on and off ever since. The problem is preventing Kyte from starting his training and he has been left on the sidelines as his brothers and sisters begin their agility journey. Jackie has brought Kyte to Noel in the hope of finally finding the cause of the lameness, but the answer may not be one that Jackie wants to hear…
