The new season sees Noel and his team facing some of their most emotional and technically challenging cases to date.
Wilson
Wilson, a three-year-old Newfoundland, is struggling to walk on his severely bent front legs. He’s already undergone several operations, but so far no vet has been able to successfully straighten his legs. This could be Wilson’s last chance.
Teddy
Tatjana brings in one-year-old long-haired Chihuahua, Teddy, who has been limping on his back legs. Noel offers Teddy a total hip replacement but it’s an emotional time for Tatjana being parted from her much-loved friend.
Sera
Since being injured in a serious car accident, Caroline has been paralysed in her arms and legs and requires 24-hour care. She’s been training up German Shepherd, Sera, to become an assistance dog but a degenerative spinal disease has been causing Sera severe pain and made her unable to continue with her training. If Sera is to have any chance of becoming a qualified assistance dog, Noel must find a solution to cure her pain.
